The Evolution of Our Mission

From bedside to
everywhere.

Bonded Through Cancer began as in-person companionship—sitting beside patients through treatment.

Years of walking that path revealed a deeper need: support that reaches everyone, everywhere. Not everyone lives near a chemo suite full of volunteers. Not everyone can accept a visitor. Not everyone even has one to call.

Today we’re launching Virtual Buddies first—secure video and phone connections that erase the barriers of distance, mobility, and access. As we grow, in-person companionship will return alongside virtual support, so no one, anywhere, has to face cancer alone.
